Have You Worked with Hach Environmental Service Lately?
Hach Environmental's Service department has made many great strides since
relocating to Loveland, Colorado in 2003. If you haven't worked with us
lately, be sure to check us out next time you need support for your Hydrolab
or OTT instruments. Some key improvements include:
Quality
Only Hach Environmental offers genuine Hydrolab and OTT parts and expertise.
Our technicians are trained at the source and interact on a daily basis
with our engineering team. The parts we use are the exact same parts that
are built into any new instrument, and we source them directly from the
manufacturing cell. Be sure you are receiving the latest revisions of
parts, firmware, and processes if your instruments need a tune-up.
Turnaround Time
Since we moved our Service team to Loveland, our turnaround time has dramatically
decreased! We strive to return all repairs within our standard 10-day
window. Guaranteed 5-day repairs are available when you approve our use
of overtime to complete your repair* or if your instruments are covered
under one of our Partnership Service contracts.
Processes
Our processes are designed to provide you with the highest quality repair
and minimal disruption to your busy workday. You can arrange repairs with
anyone from our Service or Technical Support departments. Either can quickly
and easily update you on the status of your repair. If our technicians
can't replicate the issue you experienced, we will call you directly to
walk through the exact steps you took when the problem arose. All repairs
are returned to you with a complete verification of repairs completed,
as well as a test and calibration report.
People
Hach Environmental now has additional trained technicians to work on your
repairs. Our technicians receive their training from the source, plus
they interact on a daily basis with the same team that designs our products,
so you can be certain your repairs will be completed by the most knowledgeable
service team in the industry. In addition, we have some new faces on both
our Service Administration team and our Technical Support team to help
you set up your jobs. They are available every day to give you an up-to-the-minute
status on your repairs or answer any questions you may have about the
support you received.
Prices
Due to the enormously popular Winter Service Special, we have adopted
this pricing structure as our new standard! Instead of the flat rates
from the past, we now bill our labor at $65 per hour, with a maximum labor
charge of $260. This means that if your repair takes less time, you get
charged less labor. Plus, we won't bill you if the problem can't be diagnosed,
or if you choose not to have the repair completed.
