Hach Environmental Announces Partnership with Nortek

Hach Environmental is proud to announce a joint collaboration with Nortek AS to further enhance and develop Acoustic Doppler Applications for flow measurement in rivers and open channels.

The agreement establishes a schedule for the introduction of new instruments to benefit customers worldwide by simplifying and automating the discharge data collection process. In addition to base technology development, the collaboration emphasizes the response to customer requirements for better user interfaces, documentation, and product features.

Hach Environmental will commercialize and distribute the new discharge product line worldwide. Nortek will collaborate with the Hach Environmental development department to provide core technology elements.

The OTT SLD (formerly Nortek Easy-Q) is already available to customers in the US through Hach Environmental. The OTT SLD features an improved user interface as well as greater density of velocity measurements across rivers. Plus, when combined with the OTT LogoSens datalogger, users can immediately access flow data (rather than simply velocity measurements) on-site.
