Recommends Use of Hach Method 10360 (LDO)
Hach Company is pleased to announce that the US Environmental Protection
Agency (USEPA) has completed its review of Hach Method 10360 (Revision
1.1, January 2006, Luminescence Measurement of Dissolved Oxygen in Water
and Wastewater), and, in turn, has determined that the method meets
all EPA requirements for measuring dissolved oxygen in water and wastewater.

Recommends Interim Approval of LDO Method
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recommended to each
of its EPA Regions the use of ASTM International D888-05 Standard Test
Methods for Dissolved Oxygen in Water, Test Method C (Luminescence-based
Sensor Procedure) for use in measuring DO in wastewater and for use
in measuring DO in methods approved at Title 40 of the Code of Federal
Regulations, for measuring BOD. Read more
