So small and yet so versatile. We have reduced the latest sensor and signal processing technology to the lowest and most versatile common denominator in the OTT PS 1 pressure probe.

Inside, a piezoresistive relative pressure sensor is linked to a microprocessor that handles a wide variety of tasks including signal processing and calculation. A serial SDI-12 interface or a programmable 4 – 20 mA interface are available as the output signal. In addition to water level, water temperature can be output via the serial interface. The microprocessor in the measuring cell corrects the influence of the temperature on the measuring cell and even takes into account changes in the density of the water. And this with an accuracy of better than 0.05. It even compensates for the effect of the force of gravity. The OTT PS 1 proves that highly accurate technology can also be remarkably robust. The pressure probe can withstand pressure that is ten times the measuring range without lasting mechanical damage to the probe. We have even laser-welded the probe housing to ensure that it is hermetically sealed to prevent water ingress. In addition to all this, you'll find the price of the OTT PS 1 pleasantly surprising too.
